How often do we face challenges when striving towards a goal? When life throws a curve ball at you, what do you do? Would you live within the limits of these circumstances or would you find the strength and courage to break out? Imagine a life where no boundaries exist.

On 18 October, the Malacca Room at InterContinental Singapore was abuzz with more than 50 executives and corporate high flyers who explored the topic of “Living without Borders”, led by our speakers Soon Loo and Angela Tan. To help the audience see what is possible beyond their borders, Soon and Angela gave a rare introduction of the 9 Core ConversationTM which is a model that describes the hierarchy of how capabilities and advance states develop in a human being.

Deeply engaged in examination of the core conversations that they are handling, the audience lingered on long after the end of the talk. Financial freedom has been a common catchphrase for the longest time possible.  What it really speaks of is really about the freedom and choice that a person aspires to have, the desire of pursuing what really matters and fulfills him if not for the fact that we have to devote at least half of our waking hours into earning money for survival and taking care of our basic needs. Freedom is the fourth conversation of the 9CC™.  The 9CC™ is a model that describes the hierarchy of how capabilities and advance states develop in a human being. The lower the rank of the Core Conversation, the more basic and fundamental it is to a person, without it (them), the higher Core Conversation(s) that come after don’t have the basis to develop.
