Director, Senior Executive Coach

Before embarking on his career in executive coaching in 2006, Soon was most recently Vice President in the regional office of AXA Japan & Asia Pacific. Focusing on strategy and business development, Soon managed regional projects for AXA covering 11 countries. He also managed the S$120M personal line portfolio for AXA Insurance Singapore. His successes have positioned him as the youngest VP in AXA Singapore’s history to-date.

Soon’s prior experiences were in IT ventures in Silicon Valley, Canada, and Brunei. He is a successful business strategist with over 12 years of experience in technology, insurance and real estate.  Currently he sits on the Independent Board for a SGX-listed company. 

His passion for education led him to be an adjunct lecturer in creativity and innovation with Singapore Management University, where he was ranked among the top ten adjunct faculty members for 2 consecutive years. He is currently a visiting professor to the University of Brunei.

Once featured in “Future faces of Brunei” by the Asia Inc Magazine, Soon has come a long way since his MBA days in Harvard Business School. He was recently invited by the Brunei government to mentor local enterprises to expand regionally and globally.

Over the years, Soon has established himself as a Passion and Performance Coach and Leadership Trainer. His ability to work well with people, and his intensity in propelling himself and his teams forward have gained him much respect amongst his peers. Clients know Soon to be warm, fun and extremely supportive in their crafting of new realities.
